Hi John, Following up on our discussion last week, attached is the revised proposal. Would Wednesday work for a 30-min call?”

英文逻辑:“Could you D? Because of A, B, C.”——先讲诉求再讲背景。

英文:“I apologize for the delay. Here’s what we’re doing to fix it: [action]“(道歉一句,重点放补救方案)

  • Best regards, / Kind regards, —
  • Best, / Thanks, —

Kindly find attached the report” / “Kindly reply at your earliest convenience”

Please find the report attached” / “Please reply by Friday”

I would like to” / “I would be grateful if”

I would like to inform you that the meeting has been rescheduled” / “I would be grateful if you could send me the document”

The meeting has been rescheduled to Wednesday” / “Could you send me the document by Friday?”

英文里 “would like to” 和 “would be grateful if” 大多数场景过于客套,直接说事就好。

错误 3:“As soon as possible / ASAP” 用法

换成具体日期 “by Friday EOD” 或 “before next Tuesday’s meeting” 更职业。

错误 4:“Looking forward to your reply”

换成具体行动:“Let me know if Wednesday at 2pm works” 或 “Happy to jump on a call if easier”。

错误 5:“Please be informed that…”

直接说事:“Our office will be closed on May 25” 比 “Please be informed that our office will be closed on May 25” 干净 100 倍。

AI 直译:“Dear Mr. Wang, I hope this email finds you well. The main purpose of this email is to further communicate regarding the cooperation plan we previously discussed. Please review the attachment and kindly reply at your convenience. Looking forward to your reply.”

  3. AI 写完读 1 遍,把 “Looking forward” / “kindly” / “would like to” 这类残留替换掉

Dear Professor X)

prompt 末尾加 “Provide both English version and a Chinese translation for my review”。

A:不能。

比如加一句 “PS: btw, hope your kid’s recital went well” 这种人味的内容。
